Duras state laws when it comes to driving may be something that would not be welcome drivers adolescents with open arms. But then again, a study which has just been done by the AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety did say that the states with tougher laws actually have less serious flaw. This reflects only that these laws can not be really a big deal for some, but they help to keep a lot teenagers and other motorists safe while driving.
Brad Roeber is president for the Chicago arm of the AAA. In this new study, he says, " cars remain the number one cause of death for failure adolescents in the United States, and about 1,000 16-year-old drivers are involved in fatal crash each year. This study was commissioned to understand the ability of legislation to make a difference in teen driver safety. Based on the results of research, the impact of GDL programs is very impressive ".
There are actually seven elements basic to the GDL (Graduated Driver Licensing) system. And these basic elements were considered by the AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety, when approached the study, which covered several states throughout the United States. After all, it is very important for the study of these things we would be looking for lost lives, which are completely impossible to replace, compared with Dynomax auto parts, which can be easily damaged when substituted.
The seven elements are: a person must, at least be 16 years at least before they are actually given a student of the licence, the driver must have the student& 39;s authorization of at least six months before all they are actually given a driver& 39;s licence which would allow them Without drive have any experienced driver to supervise him or her, if the driver is still learning, there is a requirement that it must have at least 30 hours of driving practice while being supervised by an experienced pilot, after which he would be granted a certificate, a person must be at least 16 years and six months before he is given a driver& 39;s licence and this is called the intermediate stage of licensing; those with intermediate licenses should not be allowed to drive after the clock strikes 10pm; those with intermediate licenses may be allowed to have only one passenger, except in cases where family members are the passengers, and for a nonexclusive license, must be at least 17 years be old.
Jesse White, the Secretary of State , suits, " This report shows that we need to take a very comprehensive approach to improving teen driver safety. More parental involvement and passage of new laws proposed by my teen driver safety task force will reduce the number of roadblocks involving young drivers and save lives. " marvis brett
